Our story
A musallah for our neighborhood.
مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
We are a group of Muslim families in the Bridgewater community of Princeton, Texas. For months now, alhamdulillah, we have been gathering to pray together in a neighbor's garage — and our little congregation keeps growing.
Our focus today is simple: a musallah — a small, dedicated prayer space close to home — so that families, children, and elders can pray the daily prayers in congregation without a long drive. For Jumu'ah, Ramadan taraweeh, Eid, and major programs, our community continues to gather at the Princeton Islamic Center, which we love and support.
We are formally organizing as a Texas nonprofit guided by a volunteer Shura board. No one is paid, and every dollar goes to the musallah. Insha'Allah, we plan to open the doors of a modest rented space — two prayer halls, for brothers and for sisters — by early September.
Help us plant this seed in our neighborhood: a sadaqah jariyah whose reward continues with every prayer prayed in it.
